Nursery School News
May News: May’s curriculum theme is “Wings”. We will be
learning about things that fly (birds, bees, bats,
air planes, etc.) while we prepare for our year
end programs where many of the children
spread their wings and fly onto Kindergarten! It
is always a bitter-sweet ending.
We will also be making Mother’s Day gifts,
celebrating all the summer birthdays and
wearing our patriotic pride for Memorial Day.
Our last days of classes are May 31st and June
1st.
This month we have two special programs that
your fundraising support helped us provide. On
May 3rd we will have an animal show for all the
T/TH students and on May 9th we will have a
magic show and pizza party for all the M/W/F
students. Our year end programs will be May
29th and 30th.
Our first UPCNS cookbook will be on sale
Sunday, May 6th during coffee hour for a price
of $10 each. We have many great recipes
from students, families, staff and board
members. They would make a great Mother’s
Day gift!!! We will also have Avon Bug Guard
and lotion on sale Sunday, June 3rd.
Thank you
for your continued support.
Enrollment: We still have limited openings in our
M/W/F morning classes and openings in our
T/TH class and our four day afternoon class for
the fall. School will resume on September 6th
and 7th with our orientations. Please call the
school office at 508-529-6382 if you would like a
tour of our school and to enroll for the 2012-2013 school year.
Fondly,
Sandy Leacu, UPCNS Director
Request from staff: Please limit your trips
through the classrooms during school hours.
We have had a couple parents express
concerns over the number of church members
going through the classroom while the children
are there and/or leaving the classroom door
open. Please conduct your church business
after 3:00pm on MWF and after 12:00 noon on
T/TH whenever possible.
Also, if Sandra Ng is not in her office, please
check in with Sandy Leacu in the nursery
school office if you are in the building for any
reason. I need to know who is in the building
at all times. This is part of our Safe Church/Safe
School policy. Thank you for your cooperation
in these matters.
