Musician's Page
What a full and wonderful Holiday Season we had! I am so grateful for the dedication and service of all our church musicians. The Senior Choir, Radiance, Solid Rock, the Festival Choir, the Women’s Ensemble, the A Cafella’s, Tom Bliss, An Chi Huang, Beth Alletto, Rich Perkins, Emily Pirozzi and our beloved accompanist, Chia-Chi Chin all contributed to a bountiful and beautiful celebration of Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas. I know I felt truly blessed by our music making and worship this season and I hope you were too!
JAZZ SUNDAY: It’s a new year, and our Music Ministry will soon be preparing for Jazz Sunday. Please consider joining the Festival Choir for this joyous celebration just before Lent. Jazz Sunday falls on February 19th this year and you will find the rehearsal schedule below. If you have not already registered, but would like to participate, please fill out a registration form, available on our website under the Music tab and submit it to the office at your earliest convenience. This process will get you on the mailing list for important communications and will insure we have music for you.
MUSIC TASK FORCE: I have tentatively scheduled a Music Task Force meeting for Sunday, January 8th after church. We will be planning several events this year and will need people to plan, organize and run the events. The Task Force will need people who are skilled at marketing (print and media), hospitality, logistics and event planning. If you can help, please let me know if you are able to attend the meeting on January 8th around 11:15 am in the Ladies’ Parlor. If we have volunteers, but the time of the meeting won’t work, I will try to find a more convenient time. My e-mail is msbonito@me.com.
