Food Pantry Community

Patrons:

We welcome patrons from Upton and neighboring towns. The Food Pantry is staffed at all times by our Food Pantry Coordinators, church and community volunteers who are available to greet and assist our patrons. We do not require any proof of residency or income, but we require paperwork that asks for your name, address, phone, number in household (for our own records only).

Food Assistance:

Patrons are allowed up to 3 grocery bags worth of food, paper goods and toiletries per visit. When visiting, patrons are asked to fill out a request sheet that specifies items needed/wanted most. Requests are fulfilled as supplies allow.

Local happenings relating to our Food Pantry:

Thank you to Will Spargo for all your hard work this summer renovating an old closet that will now be much needed additional storage for the Food Pantry. A valuable Eagle Scout Project completed!!

Thank you to the Upton Ridge Condo Association and Debbie Mainstruck for your generous and bountiful donation of toiletries and paper products!! Much needed and appreciated by all!!

Big thanks to Unibank for your generous donation of almost every item we keep on our shelves...times two!! We are very thankful to have a business in town that cares about food insecurity!

Thank you to volunteer Steve Griswold for being our bulk pick up and delivery person!!

The Vista program at Nipmuc High School, Upton. This program brings students with intellectual or physical challenges, class interns and their teachers to the pantry as part of their real world learning program. We provide them with funds to shop for specific food pantry items, stock shelves and sort donations. An invaluable piece of our mission.

Soul Fuel Coins for Coffee...many of our food pantry patrons take advantage of this kindness and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee from our Soul Fuel Cafe. Coins can also be purchased to donate as well.
