Food Pantry Partnerships
We love our partners!
We have wonderful community partners
who help us do what we do!
The Food Pantry at United Parish is thrilled to welcome our first delivery from Dignity Matters, a non-profit organization that provides no-cost feminine hygiene products, bras and underwear to homeless and disadvantaged women and girls. Did you know that Massachusetts SNAP benefits to not cover these very necessary and expensive products?!! Thank you so much Dignity Matters, and to our dedicated liaison, Joy.
The Soul Fuel Café and The Food Pantry make a great partnership team! In addition to Coins for Coffee, they also provide freshly brewed coffee on our holiday food pantry dates for everyone to enjoy, along with being a relaxing spot for patrons to wait their turn to be called at the food pantry.
The Community Harvest Project is our newest partnership and we are thrilled to be able to provide fresh produce, grown locally, to our patrons. CHP is a non-profit farm that engages and educates volunteers to grow fruits and vegetables for hunger relief. We are so grateful to everyone at The Community Harvest Project.
Hope & Comfort is another new partnership for our food pantry, that we are incredibly grateful for. Hope & Comfort's mission is to provide access to essential hygiene products (again, no SNAP coverage), to support the health, dignity and confidence of children and adults in need in Massachusetts. We are so proud to have the support of this organization.
The Cat Sanctuary in Ashland is now donating cat food & litter to our Pet Pantry!
Fiske & Main, Upton, MA. The owners of this delicious wine and cheese shop faithfully donate leftover breads to our pantry each week.
Big thanks to local students Addie and Taylor. These two young community members ran a hugely successful food drive at the Memorial School Trunk or Treat event in October. We can't thank them enough and praise their efforts to support our pantry!
