Joyful Noise Choir of The United Parish of Upton

God didn't say we had to make a perfect noise, just a joyful one!

*Choir is on Summer Break! See you in September!*

The Details:

• Who: Any adults, no music experience required! High School students are welcome with the Director's approval. Kids interested in singing should have a guardian speak to the Music Director

• Variety: Contemporary, traditional, multicultural, hymns, praise, Taize, classical, anthems, small groups, solos, jazz, Gospel, and original compositions

• Rehearsal: Wednesdays 6:45-8:45 pm, Sundays 8:15-9:15 AM

• Instruments: A George Reed tracker pipe organ and a Kawai hybrid digital piano

• Special Services: Christmas Eve, Transfiguration Sunday, Ash Wednesday, and Easter Sunday

• History: The music ministry at The United Parish of Upton is the longest-running small group ministry within the church

• Our Purpose: To encourage and nurture each individual's musical abilities and talents, to enrich and intensify the worship experience through the power of music, to be receptive to the Holy Spirit as we come together in music and fellowship, and to offer each other support through Christian prayer and companionship - these are the aims of the United Parish of Upton's music ministry.
