Community Supper

Join us for Community Supper at 5:30 pm on November 20th. We're serving creamy chicken and mushrooms over rice, salad and dessert. Seasonal vegetables over rice will be offered as a vegetarian option. Please join us for good food and good fellowship.

Please reserve your supper by emailing office@unitedparishupton.org or by calling the church office at (508) 529-3192 by November 14th.  Please indicate dine-in or take out when placing your order. Whether you are a regular or participating for the first time, we look forward to cooking for you. If the date has passed and you forgot, please come anyway. We always make extra!

The Community Supper also provides a volunteer opportunity to serve the community. If you would like to bake, cook, help prepare the take-out packages or serve in the dinning room, please respond to this post. Because we are providing both dine-in and take-out, we welcome additional volunteers. If you have been thinking about joining the team, now would be a great time. Thanks!

Hosted by the Faith in Action Committee, the Community Supper is held September through June, every third Thursday at 5:30pm.

The Community Supper is a place where our guests can take a break from having to cook one evening a month. It's an opportunity for those outside of our congregation to see what the United Parish is about, and of course it offers a nutritious meal for all, including a main dish, vegetarian option, salad, dessert and beverage.

We accept a free will offering to help provide the resources necessary to prepare the meal. Donations are not required. Come and bring a friend!
